ABOUT

The Girl Alone was recorded during the production of another film, and we wrote the script one night and shot the next day at a place in Rio das Antas, mid-west of Santa Catarina. It was the debut of all the actors in the cast: Gabriele Bittar is Cynthia's cousin and lives in the region of the recording, Luciano Brandenbergher has worked many times with Novelo as gaffer and the puppy Azeitona is Cíntia's fathers pet, who also owns the farm where it was shot.

The camera used was ARRI Amira,  from the rental company Marc Filmes, who is our associate producer in the film. It should also be said that it is very gratifying to be able to exhibit the film in prominent festivals, propagating themes such as feminicide and misogyny, as well as the most experimental genre cinema in a rarely explored in Brazilian cinematography.

SYNOPSIS
